Discover Your Ideal Weight Range with Our BMI Calculator
At Willis Cosmetic Surgery, we believe understanding your Body Mass Index (BMI) is the first step toward achieving your aesthetic and wellness goals.
Our easy-to-use calculator helps you determine whether you're in the healthy weight range for your height—a valuable metric when considering body contouring procedures.
While BMI is not a perfect reflection of overall health, it remains a helpful tool in assessing surgical risk. National standards and clinical research have shown that patients with a lower BMI tend to experience fewer complications—such as blood clots, wound healing issues, and infections—particularly with elective procedures. For your safety, we follow evidence-based BMI guidelines.
- For procedures under general anesthesia, a BMI of 32 or below is required.
- For awake procedures, we may be able to accommodate patients with a BMI up to 35–40, depending on overall body composition and the area being treated.
We welcome you to use this calculator to get a general idea of your current BMI before scheduling your consultation. Our team will always assess you as a whole person, and we’re happy to discuss your individual goals and candidacy in more detail.
