Liposuction Training
During your eight-hour training day with Willis Cosmetic Surgery, we’ll address two cases that are four hours or less in length. Dr. Willis recommends choosing two patients with one focus area each. Please send pictures of your patients to [email protected] before your training for doctor approval.
Body areas can include:
- Face
- Abdomen
- Waist
- Outer thighs
- Arms
Cost of Training
Training costs $10,000 per 8-hour training day + hotel and travel expenses, with $3,000 to be paid two weeks before training.
Equipment & Schedule
Equipment Needed
- Liposuction box and all liposuction supplies (tubing, canisters, cannulas)
- Tumescent box with tumescent tubing and tumescent cannula
- Typical suction cannulas Dr. Willis uses:
- 4mm Mercedes tip
- 3mm Mercedes tip
- 4mm basket tip
- Rasper (to break up fat) or Vaser device.
- Sculptor cannula if doing ab sculpting.
- 3mm spatula tip (only for facial liposuction)
- If using BodyTite, make sure to have handpieces and sterile gel.
- 11 blade scalpel
- Sterile drapes, towels, 4x4s, etc.
Training Day Schedule
Typical Training Day:
- 8:00 AM - Introductions and didactics if needed. First, the patient should arrive to be medicated.
- 8:30 AM - Start first case.
- 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Finish first case
- 12:30 PM - Lunch break
- 1:00 PM - Start second case.
- 3:30 PM - Finish second case and go over any questions/concerns/advice.
- 4:00 PM - Training day completed.
